Lake Nacimiento is the perfect camping resort for those who want serenity and relaxation, along with plenty of activities to suit people of all ages.

There are 6 separate camping areas, and one dedicated RV area called Oak Knoll, which is lined with trees and is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

Full hook-ups can be found at each site, along with pubic restrooms and showers in the center of the campsite. Each site has a picnic table, barbeque, and possibly a fire pit depending on whether it is safe to build a fire during your visit. Keep in mind there are sometimes restrictions on when you can or cannot build a fire and it all depends on whether the area is currently in a drought state or a particularly dry season. Check with the park to be sure before you start any fires. 

Walking and hiking trails are nearby, and if you happen to have brought your bicycle with you, you can access those trails as well.

From Oak Knoll you can access the lake in several different directions to head to the marina, to the beach, or to fishing areas  - all within 10-20 minutes walk.
